We at #CosMicIT GmbH are urgently looking for a #Java Cloud Developer

Location: Vienna (60% remote)
Start: 03/2024 – End: 06/2024
Workload: Fulltime

Position Summary:
Activities:
• Build cloud native applications (running on Kubernetes environment)
• Create new features; revise, update, refactor existing code
• Design APIs, events and event schemas
• Think using reactive programming patterns
• Use Event-streaming & event-sourcing (using Apache Pulsar).
• Implement Microservices or Functions as a Service
• Save data in a graph database (neo4j) or relational database (PostgreSQL)
• get everything automated: integration, tests, deployment, use declarative gitops (with argocd)
• Participate in requirements analysis; assist POs in defining requirements and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems
• Define Software architectures for upcoming business requirements
• Support the architects to define the software and solution architecture
• everything in an international agile environment – Work closely together with business analysts, frontend developer, testers and DevOps

Requirements:
• Experience in designing and writing clean code in Java or Golang
• Experience with state of the art technologies in the cloud
• Pro-active attitude and team orientation
• Excellent communication skill
• Structured working approach and problem solving skills
• Very good command of English (mandatory), German is a plus
• Multi culture sensibility
