Data Architect – Asset & Investment Management – Azure Snowflake EDM

THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE
Additionally, the Data Architect will play a key role in influencing ADR review/discussion sessions and may be involved in demonstrating proposed solutions. The role involves driving the establishment and implementation of a streamlined ADR approval process. Furthermore, the Data Architect will guide and support the development lead and the development team when necessary.

THIS ROLE IS HYBRID 2 -3 DAYS AT THE OFFICE IN LONDON
Experience:
Asset and Investment Management experience (Financial Services is a must)
Hands-on Strategic Data Architecture:
Extensive hands-on experience in strategic data architecture platforms, specializing in Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and EDM (Enterprise Data Management).
Proficiency across all facets of data architecture, including hands-on work in data ingestion, orchestration, storage, consumer access, and EDM best practices.
Proven hands-on experience in driving ADRs, including leading the creation of ADRs, documenting decisions, and effectively communicating them throughout their lifecycle.
Active participation in ADR review and discussion sessions.
Actively provide hands-on guidance and support to the development lead and the development team, contributing technical expertise when necessary.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and EDM in the context of strategic data architecture platforms.
Strong hands-on experience in implementing best practices for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Design and hands-on implementation experience, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub.
Hands-on expertise in Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
Hands-on experience with EDM tools and frameworks.
Proven hands-on experience in a similar role within the Asset Management industry.
