Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Murex Software Deployment:
Deploy and manage Murex Software required for client projects using Murex tools and scripts.
Set up new Murex environments, including associated interfaces, from scratch with attention to the filesystem and interfaces.
Configuration Management:
Utilize Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items.
Analyze and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.
Database Operations:
Perform database sanitization and purging procedures.
Optimize Murex performance by fine-tuning both application and database parameters.
Monitoring and Debugging:
Monitor and debug performance and error logs to address any issues promptly.
Write scripts from both application and database perspectives to trigger jobs or debug system problems.
Experience:
5-10 years of relevant experience in Murex configuration and environment management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and AWK.
Strong SQL, Unix, XML, and RDBMS operation skills.
Expertise in setting up Murex environments from scratch and conducting Environment Management activities.
Murex Knowledge:
Good overall understanding of Murex architecture and functionality.
Experience in executing Murex Binary Upgrades (2.11 to 3.1 & within 3.1).
Exposure to various Murex settings, parameters, and configurations.
Cloud Experience:
Knowledge of setting up Murex environments on the Cloud and understanding key intricacies involved.
