Description
Trade and Transaction Reporting Product Transformation Lead responsibilities:
Responsible for the definition and implementation of the solutions and enhancements ensuring robust, complete, and accurate trade and transaction reporting.
Lead a team of product analysts delivering IT Change into MiFIR/MiFID II, EMIR/EMIR Refit, and SFTR transaction reporting and pre/post trade transparency requirements.
Ensure TTR Product Analysts are optimally allocated between project and BAU delivery requirements.
Consult to business, Compliance and IT (development and QA) on all facets of transaction reporting within the Capital Markets business to ensure optimal delivery of change.
Perform detailed data analysis, identifying transaction reporting issues, back reporting datasets, and supporting root-cause analysis.
Mentor product analysts in transaction reporting requirements, business/product analysis techniques, data analysis techniques, and delivery management
Ensure team processes and procedures are adhered to, and contributing to continual improvement in team delivery and productivity.
Curate, maintain and ensure ongoing accuracy of product backlog for the TTR Product stream within Jira and Confluence
Ensure Agile delivery methodologies are adhered to.
The successful contractor will
Work with business stakeholders to produce analysis of IT business solutions in the regulatory trade and transaction reporting function, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and IT staff to ensure success.
Understand the implications of each initiative and ensure that risks and issues are monitored throughout, in particular timely escalations and proactive actions to meet objectives
Maintain communication in a consistent manner, with regular reporting to the Team Leader.
Independently research regulations/issues/questions from the business to facilitate a resolution, escalating where appropriate
Proactively identify, specify and document business requirements from key business stakeholders. Leading and facilitating working group discussions and workshops.
Perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, and associated tools.
Design business solutions, produce technical requirement documentation and analyse vendor proposed solutions
3rd Party relationship management with Vendors
Working across functions of the company to meet project objectives, including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, BAU Application Support, Operations, Compliance, and Finance
Creating and executing test plans and ensuring approval of delivered solutions
Defining documentation, training and delivery for successful project hand‐over

Profile
Trade and Transaction Reporting Product Transformation Lead Specific Knowledge and Experience
Experience and understanding of a Derivatives and Securities trading, operational and regulatory environment
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Strong self-starter with excellent verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated experience of creating technical requirements/specification documentation
Evidenced experience in a Business Analyst engagement in Trade and Transaction Reporting under one or more of MiFID II, EMIR, and SFTR projects in line with cost, quality and time constraints to the highest standard within a Financial organisation or Software Vendors
Strong work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines and objectives
Agile Delivery ‐ Demonstrate experience of managing end to end delivery of technical change in line with strategic goals, from initiation and design to implementation and closure
Experience of front to back office trading and associated systems
Experience with Vendor Management preferred
Demonstrated understanding and delivery, including migration, Transaction Reporting projects or remediation relating to Financial Services
Understanding of Regulatory processes and BAU expectations
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
Demonstrated experience dealing with high level stakeholders in a financial environment
Key Skills & Qualifications
Excellent understanding of one or more of EMIR II, SFTR, or MiFID II Transaction Reporting for securities and derivatives, as applies.
Graduate degree in Finance or Regulatory discipline preferred
Experience with other financial services regulatory projects preferred.
Good Excel based spreadsheet, quantitative and data management skills
Experience in both waterfall and agile delivery preferred.
Knowledge of software for use in project life cycles, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Visio
Strong skills working with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point, and SQL.
Familiarity with Net and C#/++ (or other relevant languages) and VBA preferred
Job Offer
upto £780 per day on a PAYE basis
