Test Engineer (Mechanical/Mechatronics)- Automotive – Stuttgart – 6 Months

One of the Automotive big guns of the Baden-Württemberg region is looking for a Test Engineer with a background in either Mechanics or Mechatronics to come onboard ASAP.

The project is in a crisis management testing phase and the emphasis on a problem solving candidate with strong communication skills is key.

Requirements:
Experience as a Test Engineer in Mechanical or Mechatronic environments.
Experience in the Automotive sector could be beneficial although not essential.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with lab equipment; power supplies, multi-channel recorders, callipers etc.

Responsibilities:
Thoroughly analyse the customer specification.
Rigorous test set up.
Participate in testing activities spending 80% working in a test cell.
Communicate with the end customer face-to-face.
