Test Engineer
Hays Luxembourg is looking for a Test Engineer to join his client.
You will support the IT automation services teams in organizational and procedural adjustments as well as in daily tasks.
Here are the duties:
Analyze, test, and evaluate user requirements, specifications, and models with regard to testability.
Create test cases based on a detailed technical analysis of both functional and non-functional requirements (reliability, efficiency, usability, etc.).
Develop test cases using appropriate testing techniques.
Analyze product risks to determine the depth of testing; assess residual risks after running the tests.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders.
Collaborate with projects and support them to achieve the highest possible quality in their deliverables.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the testing field, within complex projects
Experience in the banking sector.
Familiarity with both classical testing and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency with Triple A or T24 is an advantage.
Skills and Abilities:
Capable of conducting defect triage meetings.
Demonstrated experience in bridging System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Strong knowledge of Xray and Jira.
Expertise in setting up test coverage matrices.
Competence in preparing or requesting test data for automated tests.
Ability to perform and document tests according to specified test cases or in an exploratory manner.
Skilled in identifying, analyzing, describing, and isolating errors, as well as measuring the performance of components and systems.
