Test Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to perform and support testing activities for organizational projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute to transforming the testing approach into an agile framework and will focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for our client’s.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, test, and evaluate user requirements, specifications, and models for testability.
Create test cases based on detailed technical analysis of functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., reliability, usability).
Develop test cases using appropriate testing techniques.
Conduct product risk analysis to determine test depth and residual risks post-testing.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders.
Set up the test environment and implement test strategies using standardized methods and tools.
Prepare or request test data and automate tests where feasible.
Execute and document tests, including exploratory testing.
Identify, analyze, and isolate errors, measuring the performance of components and systems.
Collaborate with projects to deliver the highest quality deliverables.
Job Requirements:
Competencies:
At least 5 years of experience in testing, with expertise in complex testing projects.
Experience in the banking domain is essential.
Knowledge of T24 or Triple A is considered an advantage.
Strong background in both classical and agile testing methodologies.
Proven ability to manage defect triage meetings.
Experience bridging SIT and UAT test phases and supporting business users during UAT.
Proficiency in Xray and Jira.
Ability to conduct product risk analysis and determine test depth.
Expertise in creating test coverage matrices and automating tests.
Solid understanding of performance testing for components and systems.
Education and Certifications:
Higher education in Computer Science (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent).
Skills:
Strong communication and planning abilities.
Fluency in English, written and verbal.
Team player with a customer-oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of the software lifecycle and operational management.
High self-motivation to drive initiatives and improvements.
Open to bringing in new ideas and initiating changes.
