Technical Writer
Our client, an IT consultancy company, is searching for a Technical Writer with proven experience.
About the mission:
Develop comprehensive documentation for new and existing products, including user manuals, API documentation, integration guides, FAQs, and online help systems.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand technical details and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
Write technical content for diverse audiences, from developers and system administrators to non-technical users.
Organize and present information logically and concisely for various media (e.g., web, PDF, online help).
Continuously review and update documentation to ensure it stays current with product updates, new features, and best practices.
Maintain style guides and documentation templates to ensure consistency across all content.
Work with marketing and sales teams to contribute technical content for blogs, whitepapers, and case studies as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software/technology environment.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with content management systems, version control systems, and documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Confluence, Git, etc.).
Familiarity with creating API documentation, user guides, release notes, and integration documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience in writing developer-centric documentation, such as SDK or API guides.
Familiarity with programming languages and development environments (e.g., React, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and their impact on documentation usability.
Previous work experience in Agile environments.
