Tax Consultant FATCA/CRS/FITAX M/F
We are looking for a Tax Consultant FATCA/CRS/FITAX for one of our clients based in Luxembourg.
Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
Strong tax fields expertise is mandatory, especially with FACTA/CRS and FITFAX
French is mandatory, English is an asset and any other language is seen as an advantage
Your responsibilities
You will produce and complete CRS and FATCA filings, including amended versions, ensuring data extraction, validation, and submission through FITAX, directly contributing to the organisation’s regulatory compliance.
You will participate in testing activities related to the FITAX cloud migration, including functional testing, database checks, and workflow verification for US QI and Exchange of Information reporting, enabling you to contribute to tool and process improvements.
You will support all operational FATCA/CRS activities by analysing workflows, checking client/entity classifications, and ensuring documentation accuracy, thereby securing internal processes.
You will manage FATCA/CRS reporting cycles, producing or adjusting XML files, cleansing and validating data, and ensuring compliant and timely submissions, strengthening the reliability of regulatory reporting.
You will use and operate the FITAX platform, handling data upload, validation, reconciliation, status monitoring, error management, and amended filings, positioning you as an operational reference on the tool.
Your profile
You are fully operational from day one, able to autonomously handle all tasks related to FATCA, CRS, QI and AEOI reporting, allowing you to take ownership of your scope immediately.
You are an expert in the practical use of the FITAX platform, with an in‑depth command enabling you to carry out every step without supervision.
You are endowed with a high level of autonomy, giving you the ability to manage end‑to‑end FATCA/CRS processes.
You are experienced with at least 3 years in FATCA/CRS/QI/AEOI reporting, making you comfortable with technical, regulatory, and operational requirements.
You are supported by proven experience in a demanding environment, whether in a bank, a Big 4, a service provider, or a tax consultancy, allowing you to bring real operational added value.
You are familiar with producing and handling XML files, enabling you to efficiently manage international reports.
You are a graduate with a major in finance, IT, economics, or sciences, reinforcing your technical understanding of reporting obligations.
You are comfortable in French, both written and spoken, and English represents an additional asset for you
