System administrator (Linux + Microsoft) junior M/F
For an industrial group well implemented in Luxembourg, we are looking for a System Engineer – Junior that will join the infrastructure team of our client. They are open to welcome a junior profile, the most important for them will be the soft skills of the candidate. They are looking for a professional keen to learn and develop its skills in both Microsoft and Linux systems (and virtualisation) and that will be focused on growing its technical skills.
You’ll be tasked with the upkeep and management of their extensive system infrastructure. Their operations span the globe, with their central office situated in Luxembourg. You will have the chance to work from the design to the installation to the maintenance and support of systems.
Your missions
You will take care of Windows (2019 & 2022) and Linux (Redhat) server administration.
You will update a scaled system infrastructure based on a patch management plan.
Including the coordination, planning, and delivery
You will administrate of a wide-scale modern full virtualized hyper-converged environment (VMware)
Your profile as System Engineer junior
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
You have minimum 2 years of experience in Infrastructure (internships + first professional experience)
You have a specific interest in working in Systems and your goal is to grow your technical skills.
You have a first experience with Microsoft or Linux (if Linux, ideally you have installed a server at home and worked on little projects on it.).
You are fluent in French and have a good level of English (mandatory)
Your benefits
Annual gross salary on 12 months up to 55’000€
