Job description
Sogeti is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Software Engineer – .NET/Java to join our company.
You will do more than just sling code and you will engage in some of Luxembourg’s most innovative projects. At Sogeti, consultants can work with a variety of different customers, tools and methodologies; something that would otherwise take many years to gain.
Your challenge
Participate in the full software development life cycle at all stages include
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality software solutions
Work on both the front-end and back-end development of Web applications using Java and .NET technologies
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Skills & requirements
Proficiency in .NET (4.8) and Java (11) programming languages
Proficiency in Agile methodologies
Knowledge of Quadient and OpenText software is an advantage
Knowledge of Cobol programming language an advantage
Multi-disciplinary, autonomous and able to put forward proposals in the course of work
Languages: French, English. Luxembourgish is considered an advantage.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Previous experience with Java and .NET programming language;
