Software Testing Manual Tester – Fixed Income eTrading

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester to join our Fixed Income Technology Trading Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading systems through rigorous manual testing procedures. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and execute test cases to validate system functionality.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Execute manual test cases to validate system functionality, usability, and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, ensuring thorough regression testing.
Work closely with developers to isolate and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed feedback.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Manual Tester, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of fixed income trading concepts and workflows.
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
