We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our client team and contribute to the support and maintenance of the Back-office banking system. This role will involve working on various ongoing sub-projects, and potentially other new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide essential support and implementation for the Back-office banking system.
Collaborate with users to discuss and agree upon proposed technical solutions, and then effectively implement those solutions.
The development work will be focusing on using proper software design constructs, object, oriented design and programming, appropriate usage of design patterns and test-driven development.
Analyze systems, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
Contribute to new projects throughout the specification, design, and implementation phases.
Coordinate and execute testing of new releases and versions, including designing and implementing automated test cases using frameworks like Gherkin.
Develop new features and bug fixes in Java.
Ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability between systems.
