Senior Python Java Golang Engineer – Kubernetes Openshift EKS

Senior Python/Java/Golang Engineer – Kubernetes/Openshift/Devops sought by leading investment bank based in London.

**Inside IR35 – 2/3 days a week onsite**
Skills required:
Software engineering background with strong focus on high development standards, especially for code quality, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and deployment
Proficiency with Python and knowledge of one other modern programming language such as Java, Go etc. Enthusiasm and ability to pick up new languages and concepts as necessary
Solid working knowledge of containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS or similar)
Ability to communicate thoughtfully, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a learning mentality to build long-term relationships
Experience with working in a DevOps culture and willing to drive it. You are comfortable working with CI/CD tools (ideally IBM UrbanCode Deploy, TeamCity, Jenkins, Tekton etc.), monitoring tools and log aggregation tools.

Beneficial skills:
Experience with identification of control gaps in relation to Technology processes, Applications, Information Security Policy, and other internal policies.
Experience in Audit, Regulatory, Information Security or Risk Management projects
Experience performing IT Systems Analysis
Strong grasp of DevSecOps practices to incorporate security first principles from the get-go
