Aufgabenbeschreibung:

The system and the associated administration and assignment of IP addresses are to be converted into a fully managed service. The Project scope is to coordinate and supervise activities of the provider.

Task:
The assignment of new IP ranges and the adaptation of existing subnets should take place via a standard SNOW process. Approval of this process is to be done by the architects of OurConnectivity and the Service Owner. The planning and implementation is to be carried out.

In the course of the transfer of the service, the existing data must be cleaned up.
– Matching the data to the actual network (delete obsolete entries and add missing entries).
– Working out a naming convention for the networks and correcting the current database.
– Correcting the additional attributes of networks (for example: a client did not set the additional attribute « Usage = Client »).

The control of access and the assignment of permissions in must be switched from the current domain-based method to SAML. The customer is preparing to deactivate the legacy domain.In the same step, it must be checked who currently has which authorization and whether this is really required (no more write authorization for people outside of Our Connectivity)

The Managed Service Provider (MSP) is to check whether it is possible to manage VRFs and BGP AS communities with IPAM. If this is not possible, we need an appropriate alternative.

The MSP to check if and how the System can provide an API to get connected to Customers internal systems for potential automation of processes

Check and implement options for automated change processes linked to the customers internal systems such as SNOW or Tufin

Link new IPAM (IP Address Management) processes to the monitoring of Netscout

Align existing and new processes to ITIL v4

Anforderungen:

Required skills:
– Deep knowledge about Base network services including DNS, DHCP, IPAM and NTP
– Ability to steer projects with interface to one or more providers
– Deep knowledge about infrastructures used in Datacenters and in Cloud environments

– Experience at least of 10 years in setting up and optimizing ITIL processes, based on v4 and certified at least on “ITIL v4 Managing Professional” level
– Knowledge of usage and customizing options of Service Now
– Experience in setting up and optimizing interfaces to Netscout
– English and German fluent
