Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Description de la mission

Responsibilities:
Ensuring all existing strategies, tests, and processes are actively monitored, in line with policy and responsible lending guidelines and executed in line with expectations and within Value and Risk hurdles.
Proactively identifying opportunities to create or optimise credit strategies, credit processes, or processes within other departments.
Driving the design and delivery of tactical and strategic changes to strategies and processes.
Ensuring that the risk appetite is maintained within limit to support the delivery of the P&L target.
Driving the implementation of robust and measurable tests.
Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems using independence of thought.
Analyse and make recommendations that help inform the development of policy, scorecards, and strategies.
Investigate data, find trends, forecast performance, and provide insightful recommendations.
Provide insight/set expectations through targeted analysis, forecasting, and development of regular MI.
Accountable (solely or with others) for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and contribute to workflow/process change redesign, forming a good understanding of the specific product or process.
Support the development of analysts within the wider team.
Peer-review analysis of other team members.
Understand Customer impact of role.
Skills desired:
Relevant experience in personal/retail financial services
Proficient in SAS/SQL with practical experience in a commercial environment.
Database extraction and reporting experience.
Knowledge of Credit Reference Agency data, scores and characteristics.
Clear, logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
Attention to detail and accuracy focused.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
