A finance client are looking for a contract Senior Application Infrastructure Engineer via Umbrella to support these products on a Linux platform and Microsoft Azure. You will need to have a strong focus on automation to speed up delivery and help build scalable systems with high reliability.
On Linux and Azure, you’ll work with the product owner and service delivery manager to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the Bitbucket/git SCM platform – and work on project to migrate from Bitbucket to Github.
Requirements
Hands on, commercial experience with Java and Python
Excellent knowledge of Linux
Microservice software design and architecture
Nice to have
Azure ideally, or AWS experience
Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
Bitbucket server experience
DB maintenance and tuning
