Remote Desktop Support Engineer (WEEKEND WORK)
Role: Desktop Support
Start Date: ASAP
Location: 100% remote
Hours: 8am-5pm
Days: Wednesday – Sunday (will be working even if these days fall on holidays)
Essential Skills:
Must have provided remote support
Must have Windows and Linux Experience
Must be able to provide detailed examples of where you have provided excellent customer service
Must have ticketing experience – what tools have you/do you use?
Escalation of ticket issue to the right parties
Experience working towards SLAs
Day to Day/Required Skills:
· Application support of over 30 production applications. They will be supporting the backend and user interface.
· Infrastructure Support/Systems Admin skill set
· Will have access to some of the servers, understanding Windows Admin would be helpful.
· Administer complex applications that they have (Okta – this will help a lot)
· Light touch AWS experience – managing EC2s, VMS,
· Experience working with the network – manages several domains, created DNS records
· Automation> writes scripts with Python. They do it a bunch, will need to learn if theydon’t know
· Active Directory > adds/changes/decommissioning would be helpful but not required
Environment:
· Film specific applications = Movie magic, synchronize, asset hub
· The applications are film industry specific (Avid, studio desk, Moxion, Box storage, OKTA)
· Virtual Production applications = file maker, whole adobe creative cloud suite
· Environment is Linux/Windows mix
