The Project
The business is a challenger bank who are in the process of global expansion and are undergoing transformation across all areas of their business. As part of this transformation push, the business is looking to increase their regulatory capacity by creating a new function from the ground up. This function will look at regulatory returns, governance, onboarding, and managing conversations with regulators.
This is a growing business which operates on the cutting edge, and this project is a chance to contribute to a company which is redefining the world of banking. This is an initial six-month project, paying up to £750/day outside IR35. The work can be done remotely, although there is the option to go into their London office if desired.
The Consultant
We need a consultant with strong experience of regulatory reporting. A good understanding of everything around that is important too, especially risk and controls. Experience working with the Axiom system would be beneficial but is not critical.
They are looking for consultants who are adept at moving in fast-paced environments and operating autonomously. Consultants with experience in challenger banks may well be more used to such environments, and such experience could therefore be beneficial.
