Project Manager
Are you a skilled Project Manager with a passion for leading teams in a dynamic, remote environment? We are looking for an experienced professional to join our innovative team in Brussels and play a key role in driving our projects to success!
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our project delivery, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. You will prepare engaging materials for online meetings, manage a talented team remotely, and ensure that projects align with our strategic goals. Your expertise in project management standards and methodologies will be vital in steering our initiatives towards successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare for success: Develop materials and speaking points for online meetings, ensuring clear communication with all participants.
Lead your team: Manage and motivate your team in a virtual environment, conducting regular check-ins with team members and the IT Portfolio Manager.
Engage stakeholders: Collaborate with the IT Portfolio Manager and Business Owner to prepare project management documents following PM2 methodology and participate in status meetings.
Monitor progress: Estimate timescales and resource requirements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Empower your team: Provide effective leadership to the internal IT team, helping prioritize and monitor their work, and support the Business Analyst in system requirements and testing plans.
Coordinate with outsourced Teams: Manage and monitor the work of outsourced IT teams, validating deliverables and ensuring they meet project requirements.
What we’re looking for:
Experience: At least 10 years in project management, with a strong foundation in PM2 (5 years minimum) and Agile methodologies (4 years minimum).
Leadership skills: Proven track record in meeting facilitation (6 years) and the ability to motivate and develop your team.
Technical proficiency: Expertise in reporting methods (8 years), and proficiency in project management tools like MS Project and Microsoft Excel (8 years).
Tools familiarity: Experience using Confluence and Jira (3 years).
Certifications: PRINCE2 Foundation or PM2 certification is a must.
