About iptiQ’s transformation
iptiQ is a digital B2B2C insurance company owned by Swiss Re. We’re unlocking insurance to drive business growth and customer value for our partners around the world. We offer straightforward life and non-life insurance products and deliver multi-channel customer experiences through our advanced end-to-end digital insurance platform. Following a strategic review, Swiss Re plans to exit the iptiQ business over time. To execute on this strategic decision, the iptiQ Transformation programme has been formed.
We are looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) who will support us in this journey. The programme is temporary in nature and so is the role. At the same time, it offers the unique opportunity to gain insights into the complexity of transforming an insurance business. As a PMO, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the iptiQ Transformation programme and its objectives.
About the role
As a PMO, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with the programme plan, budget, and reporting
• Preparing and documenting the programme governance and decision-making processes
• Reporting and escalating the progress and risks of the programme and its workstreams
• Following up and coordinating with the workstream leads and project managers
• Facilitating alignment and collaboration across the programme and its stakeholders
• Reviewing and ensuring quality and consistency in the programme deliverables and documentation
• Using and maintaining the programme management tools and methodologies
About the team
The Transformation Office is a small team of experienced professionals who oversee the programme and support the workstreams in delivery. We work closely with the iptiQ leadership, the Swiss Re Group, and external advisors to ensure the programme’s success. We are a diverse, agile, and collaborative team that values openness, trust, and innovation. We are looking for a PMO who shares our passion and commitment for iptiQ’s transformation.
About you
We are looking for a PMO who has:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in project or programme management, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
• Strong knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as in a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and environments
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Any other language is a plus
