Product MDM – Subject Matter Expert

Hybrid, Zurich

We are seeking for a seasoned SME in Product Master Data for a well-known and innovative Swiss client in the Chemical industry.

General Conditions:

* Start date: ASAP, 80- 100% pensum
* Contract type: contract
* Duration: 3 months, extension very likely
* Hybrid work: 2 days/w remote, 3 days/w in Zurich Office
* Daily rate: 1.000 – 1.200 CHF based on experience

Your role:

* Develop, implement and operate procedures for data integrity checks and data quality checks in the various sources of product master data (PIM, EDMS, CCMS, DAM). Implementation can be in the systems (with IT), external, or through assisted manual maintenance procedures operated by the support team
* Based on business requirements, define precise specifications for integrating systems with the knowledge base for transferring metadata both ways and for providing access to actual information (e.g.: content, documents or media assets)
* Define acceptance criteria for integrations: Testing and monitoring
* Create additional data sources for the knowledge graph, for cases in which no source is existing
* Make product master data and information from the knowledge graph accessible to end-users through user-centric and task-centric cockpit (e.g.: Power BI or SAP analytics cloud)
* Create specific end-user documentation for maintaining product master data in the various location

Your knowledge:

* Degree in BSc Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
* Eager to continuously learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry best practices
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritize when under pressure
* Experience with Azure App Service, Azure SQL database and Azure data integration
* Experience in enterprise architecture, integration design patterns and database design
* Experience with software development process: a dependency management and build automation tools, and with version control systems
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written
