PowerCenter developer M/W
Hays Luxembourg is seeking a versatile and skilled PowerCenter developer to join a dynamic team working on enterprise-grade data and backend solutions. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing data flows and backend services using modern technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain robust data integration workflows using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Oracle PLSQL, SQL.
Develop backend services and APIs using Java (Spring framework).
Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for high-performance data access.
Set up and manage automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.
Analyze and improve application performance across backend and database layers.
Collaborate using Git-based version control systems.
Support cloud-based solutions
Create and maintain shell scripts for automation tasks on Linux and Windows systems.
Apply domain knowledge in financial services to deliver tailored solutions (a plus).
Technical Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica
Strong proficiency in Java/Spring and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools , test automation
Experience Git version control
Experience with scripting languages (bash, ksh, cmd) on Linux/Windows environments
Basic exposure to cloud platforms and SaaS environments
Knowledge of financial instruments or banking systems is an advantage.
