Operations Engineer

Description de la mission

Master and Software Engineers with the following key requirements:
Support, maintain and enhance the applications in the suite, including a High Performance Computing grid, and a mix of Windows on premise and Azure cloud applications.
Support application teams with administration of Azure cloud environments
Implement changes to CI/CD pipelines e.g. migration to Azure DevOps from TeamCity
Plan and carry out Security requirements such as implementing Multi-Factor Authentication, network segmentation, automated certificate management
Assist the Tech Lead in carrying out security assessments of applications – in-house and vendor applications.
Support applications teams in documenting network security design, carrying out threat modelling and assisting with penetration testing
Track and implement measures to resolve vulnerabilities within the system components
Administer Security findings and action plans
Monitor support mailboxes and responding to issues from users and via automated alerts
Occasionally provide onsite and offsite (remote) support, public holiday and weekend work.
This is an inside IR35 contract role paying around £600-£650 per day. Initially 6 months duration but you can expect multiple durations given the book of work.
