Onsite Problem Manager
We are looking for an Onsite Problem Manager to join a dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence. Based in Strasbourg, you’ll manage the life cycle of problems, prevent incidents, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers a collaborative, multilingual environment and the chance to work on complex, impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve critical issues.
Manage the end-to-end Problem Management process, ensuring preventive measures are implemented.
Create and maintain onboarding materials, educational resources, and process documentation.
Collaborate closely with Incident Management to refine and improve problem tickets.
Analyze incident and escalation data to identify recurring patterns and propose sustainable solutions.
Lead the implementation of root cause fixes and ensure comprehensive knowledge articles are developed.
Influence cross-functional teams using data-driven insights to implement improvements.
What You Bring :
Experience:
At least 3+ years as a Problem Manager in medium to large-scale environments.
Hands-on experience with ITIL methodology (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or Waterfall methodologies.
Skills:
Proficiency in ITSM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Languages:
Proficient in English (minimum CEFRL Level C1); French is a plus.
Certifications (preferred):
ITIL Foundation and Prince 2 Practitioner.
Technical Knowledge (bonus):
Familiarity with Flink, Kafka, Microservices, Kubernetes, or Elasticsearch.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Additional Requirements :
EU Secret Personnel Security Clearance (PSC) is mandatory.
Previous experience working in EU environments and consortium setups is advantageous.
