Senior Virtualization Engineer – FR/AN
Job description
To reinforce our teams, we are looking for a Senior Virtualization Engineer speaking French & English.
Your main responsibilities:
Manage and implement global virtualization deployment projects at large and medium scale
Participate in the implementation of various projects (senior infrastructure team member)
Support and operate the existing virtual infrastructure for internal and customers’ needs and make proposals for adaptations and improvements
Manage infrastructure incidents with manufacturer support
Feature strategic technologies proposed by NSI to our customers
Your profile:
5+ years of solid, practical knowledge and demonstrated experience in working with Virtualization platforms: VMware and/or Nutanix
Fluent in French and professional level in English
Expertise in backup (restores, snapshots, …) and virtual networking
Good understanding of storage (SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel), mainly for migration purpose
Will be considered as an advantage:
The knowledge of containerization technologies (Kubernetes / AKS / Openshift)
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and/or Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI)
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
A proactive and positive customer-oriented attitude is highly desired
Excellent communication skills and great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload
