Lead Data Engineer ETL – FR/EN
Job description
To reinforce our teams, we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer ETL speaking French and English.
Your main responsibilities:
Analyze and reverse-engineer current data flows and processes, document them, identify issues, proactively suggest solutions, and track or implement improvements
Actively contribute to defining the target solution for common data products, advocating for a unified source of truth
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and work closely with data architects, data modelers, development engineers, and analysts
Balance the maintenance and evolution of the existing solution while simultaneously building the new target solution
Oversee the development process and review the quality of deliverables (flows, documentation, processes, etc.), ensuring reusability and upholding high standards
Enhance Data CI/CD pipelines and ensure alignment with BIL Factory principles
Ensure the quality of deliverables and guarantee that automated testing is properly established and maintained
Your profile:
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
Degree in Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems or Engineering
Fluent in French and English
Technical Skills:
Strong experience in ETL tool
Familiar with Oracle Data Integrator and/or Snowflake
Advanced knowledge of SQL
Able to interpret and modify both logical and physical data models
Board understanding of banking products, services and financial concepts
Strong advantage if you have expertise in Financial Controlling
Experience with implementation or usage of T24 data is a plus
