Missions
Provide Support and maintenance of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) deployed on Linux OS and IBM MQ
Monitor the health, performance, and availability of ESB infrastructure and services, and proactively identify and resolve issues
Raise and coordinate resolution of issues with Middleware provider support teams
Perform Middleware patching and upgrades
Participate to the failover and disaster recovery tests
Automation of certain manual process using Ansible and Azure DevOps pipelines
Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices for ESB platform usage and administration
Profile
You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
You have at least 5 years’ experience in administering and troubleshooting Linux, IBM ACE or any previous version: IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WBM) and/or IBM MQ Series
You have proven experience of message queuing systems, protocols and standards (e.g. MQ, JMS, SOAP, REST)
Operating system (RedHat Linux): operational commands, system architecture and basic debugging tasks
You are used to working with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) for automation and monitoring tasks
Infrastructure automation tools (such as Ansible, Puppet) for configuration management hold no secrets for you
Connectivity: SSH, RDP, TCP, Firewall rules
Knowledge of domains, IP infrastructure, server operating systems and domain registration standards, as well as an understanding of IT standards and methodologies and audit requirements
Log monitoring: events, errors via Splunk or an equivalent tool
You are able to work in an English-speaking environment
