Mid Level Java Developer – Market Data/Bloomberg sought by leading investment bank based in the city of London
**Inside IR35 – 2-3 days a week onsite**
The role:
The team are looking for a passionate mid-level Java developer to join to working on a Market Data focused application. The core language in the team is Java, but Javascript frameworks also form an important part of the platform. As part of the role you’ll be upskilled in various vendor technology platforms and hence the successful candidate will have to be willing to learn.
Skills required:
Technical expertise
Unix
MS Excel including VBA
Oracle and/or Sybase
Java frameworks (eg Spring)
React/Angular
R/Python
XML/XSLT/XSD/XPath
Market Data Providers (BBG/Refinitiv) and their products
Competent knowledge with proven implementation experience of:
Source control management, preferably using Git/Bitbucket.
Unit and Integration testing skills, including preparing test scripts and execution.
Good knowledge with applied experience of Agile design and practices.
