Lead Principal Software Engineer – Banking

We are currently recruiting for a principal engineer to join a leading retail and corporate bank and help with their digital transformation.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be the driving force behind some of the most critical banking projects. You’ll lead a team of brilliant engineers, guiding them to build robust, scalable, and secure financial software solutions. Your expertise in Java, C#, cloud technologies, and DevOps will be pivotal in shaping our architectural vision and executing our roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect & Innovate: Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and resilient banking systems. Drive architectural decisions and ensure the quality of our technology stack.
Lead & Mentor: Inspire and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Provide technical guidance and support career growth.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to deliver world-class banking software solutions.
Drive DevOps Excellence: Champion DevOps best practices to streamline development, deployment, and operations. Ensure CI/CD pipelines are robust and efficient.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with emerging technologies and trends. Evaluate and integrate new tools and techniques to enhance our development process.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven Experience: 10+ years in software engineering with extensive hands-on experience in Java and C#. Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring engineering teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Architectural Expertise: Deep understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience in designing complex, distributed systems.
Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Passion for learning and applying new technologies.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
