KEYTEO – Corporate Tax Consultant
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Looking for a Senior Tax Compliance expert for our Corporate Taxes team within the Bank’s tax department as a temporary replacement for the Corporate tax expert.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To assist the Bank’s Tax Department in its overall corporate tax missions under the supervision of the Corporate Taxes Team Leader:
· Calculation of corporate income tax and municipal business tax provisions;
· Assistance for the implementation of the Pillar 2 regulation, notably: Calculating the Pillar 2 tax provisions and ensuring detailed audit trail and documentation for 2024 financial accounts and for 2025 tax year; Contributing to the drafting of responses to requests from external auditors;
· If and when Luxembourg tax regulation is available, preparation of Pillar 2 tax returns for the Bank and Luxembourg-based subsidiaries;
· Preparation of corporate tax returns for the Bank and Luxembourg-based subsidiaries, as well as tax returns to the foreign tax authorities (e.g., Italy);
· Collection of financial data on intra-group transactions required for the transfer pricing documentation;
· Collection and compilation of financial and tax data on entities and preparation of tax reports for the reference shareholder (e.g., with respect to CbC reporting);
· Liaising with the departments, primarily with Finance department, and entities within the scope of the assigned tasks.
Profile:
· Corporate tax compliance expert with a Master’s degree in law or economics with a specialization in tax law;
· At least 5 years professional experience in a similar role in corporate taxation in a consultancy firm in Luxembourg with an excellent tax compliance expertise;
· Fluent in French and English;
· Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS);
· Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel;
· Good knowledge/professional experience in the banking sector would be appreciated.
