KEYTEO – Cisco – Network Engineer
Introduction
We are a leading financial institution seeking to enhance our network team with a highly skilled
consultant specializing in Cisco network equipment, including Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, and ASA firewalls. The consultant will be responsible for implementing security controls and remediating audit issues. This includes managing authorizations, patching, setting up, and monitoring security systems.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be required to:
· Implement security controls on Cisco network equipment (Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, ASA firewalls).
· Remediate audit issues related to network security.
· Manage network authorizations and access controls.
· Perform patch management and ensure all network devices are up-to-date.
· Set up and monitor security systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Provide detailed documentation and reports on all activities performed.
Qualifications
The ideal consultant should have:
· Extensive experience with Cisco network equipment, particularly Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, and ASA firewalls.
· Proven track record in implementing security controls and remediating audit issues.
· Strong knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
