IT project leader – regulatory reporting (M/F)
Be at the center of IT project management in a private bank in Luxemboug
We are looking for an IT Project Manager – Regulatory Reporting for one of our clients based in Luxembourg.
Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
Location : Kirchberg (Luxembourg)
English fluent is mandatory
Regulatory Reporting experience in a private banking is mandatory
You will take ownership of high‑impact IT projects and gain full visibility on decisions, timelines, and delivery outcomes, allowing you to directly shape solutions used across the organisation.

Responsibilities
Managing and coordinating IT projects
You will define and clarify project scope, giving you the autonomy to build project plans that actually work (on scope, time, and budget) and to drive real delivery impact.
You will identify resource and team needs,
You will coordinate team efforts, giving you the opportunity to lead specialists, assign tasks strategically and motivate teams
You will ensure project results are delivered as planned, strengthening your track record of reliable, predictable delivery.
You will work with a structured, recognised methodology that enhances your project management credibility.
You will identify and analyse risks, building your ability to foresee obstacles early and position yourself as the « problem‑solver » leader in the team.
Controlling project timeline, progress and changes
You will create and manage project schedules, giving you the satisfaction of keeping initiatives on track and avoiding budget overruns.
You will implement change requirements when needed, allowing you to influence project direction and secure high‑quality outcomes.
You will control and document project progress, strengthening your mastery of structured governance and providing clear, measurable achievements.
Monitoring project development
You will produce project documentation, giving you a clear and traceable record of your work, from request to feasibility to execution, reinforcing your expertise in regulated environments.
You will report project status to stakeholders, allowing you to be the key person who provides clarity, insights, and trusted guidance at every stage.
Profile
You bring a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, and you will use this knowledge daily in a role where technical understanding is valued-not just as a requirement, but as a differentiator.
Your experience as an IT or finance project manager will allow you to handle complex topics with confidence and expand your skill set within a high‑regulation, high‑impact domain.
Your client‑facing and internal communication skills will position you as the reliable liaison between business and technology stakeholders.
Your writing and communication strengths will help you influence decisions and make your project documentation stand out.
Your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask will be directly recognised as they will drive successful project outcomes.
Your strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint and JIRA will allow you to efficiently manage workflows and streamline project delivery.
Your analytical mindset will be put to use in environments where structured thinking and rigorous problem‑solving are valued.
Your English skills (and any additional languages such as German or French) will broaden your engagement with international teams and increase your visibility.
Your experience with regulatory reporting in the banking sector will make you a key contributor from day one in a highly specialised, high‑demand field.
