Location: Brussels, Belgium

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Project Leader to join a transversal IT team responsible for managing referential data and corporate systems across various business lines (Customer Data, GDPR, AML, etc.).

Mission Overview:
As an IT Project Leader, you will be responsible for:
Leading medium to large scale IT projects.
Translating business needs into IT solutions by collaborating closely with stakeholders.
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams (architects, developers, testers) to deliver robust applications.
Managing priorities, risks, and project timelines.
Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and structure business and functional requirements.
Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Define and describe test scenarios, coordinating with testers for execution.
Improve processes and applications based on stakeholder feedback.
Document new or adapted functionalities and processes.
Provide regular updates to management.
Foster collaboration within IT teams and business units.
Required Experience:
Soft Skills:
Team player with excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills.
Structured, pro-active, quality-driven.
Strong conceptual analysis capabilities (schema, graphs).
Ability to prioritize and plan efficiently.
Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences.
Business & Functional Skills:
5-8 years’ experience in IT Project Leading.
Solid background in business and functional analysis.
Strong knowledge of IT solution design and development life cycles.
Experience in user requirements analysis.
Preferable: Familiarity with insurance or finance sectors and business architecture principles.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel).
Experience writing functional requirements for IT.
Experience documenting processes and test scenarios.
Familiarity with SQL for data querying.
Languages:
English: Fluent (mandatory)
French and/or Dutch: Good to Fluent (preferable)
Education:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Science, Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Contract Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)
Location: Brussels City Center
