IT ANALYST
Contract Duration: 9 months (Part-time: 3 days per week, starting April 2025)
Seniority Level: Mid to Senior
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Analyst to support the implementation of a next-generation framework in the logistics and supply chain domain. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication, robust API management, and effective project coordination. This role involves a mix of business analysis, technical API testing, and project management tasks, making it essential for the candidate to possess both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define business requirements, transforming them into clear, actionable user stories.
API Development and Testing:
Manage and test APIs using Postman to ensure proper functionality and data integration.
Send and validate payloads within the cargo management system.
Implement and execute robust API testing strategies to ensure accuracy and performance.
System Testing: Perform end-to-end system testing in collaboration with QA teams to validate project deliverables.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with service providers to resolve discrepancies and maintain alignment on project goals.
Streamline communication channels and participate in stakeholder calls to provide updates and track progress.
Data Reporting: Utilize Power BI to create dynamic reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
Documentation: Maintain a centralized repository for project records, ensuring technical readings and updates are clearly documented.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Postman for API testing and development.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project tracking and management.
Experience with the Power Platform for reporting and automation.
Strong understanding of HTTP methods, JSON/XML data formats, and troubleshooting API issues.
Communication and Analysis:
Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate technical requirements into actionable deliverables.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Knowledge:
Familiarity with supply chain processes (MOP) and cIMP/cXML FWB structures is an asset.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner
PMP (Project Management Professional)
