Identity and Access Management Specialist

McCabe & Barton is recruiting an Identity and Access Management Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading financial services firm, to join their Information Security team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated provisioning and reconciliation of access for the organization’s systems. You will coordinate IT access management processes to ensure appropriate policies and controls are in place and operated efficiently.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract paying up to £80,000 for the right candidate. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site meetings.
Must Haves:
3+ years in identity and access management
Hands-on experience with IAM tools like Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta
Knowledge of access governance and compliance controls
Main Responsibilities:
Own and manage end-to-end identity and access processes
Validate access requests and ensure proper entitlements
Develop and implement automated provisioning
Monitor entitlements and access controls
Assist in developing IAM policies and processes
Obtain evidence for audits and compliance reviews
Build relationships with stakeholders across IT, security and compliance
Continuously improve IAM operations and efficiency
Required Experience:
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM tools
Understanding of access governance concepts
Experience with access certifications and compliance
Working knowledge of networking and security protocols
Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
Analytical skills to identify and improve processes
Attention to detail and process orientation
