Advanced knowledge of the latest insurance platforms and technologies such as Guidewire, ICE, EIS, Genesys etc.
As a hands-on engineering advocate, you will play a key role across the development, architecture, and DevOps communities. Deliver products and services that delight customers by demonstrating a deep passion for technology and software engineering, using the latest languages, tools, and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Help to drive Enterprise Scale transformation across the UK Financial Services & Insurance sector to enable accelerated growth initiatives and best-in-class customer experiences.
Consult with clients to build customer-centric products and solutions that will help shape the future of the Insurance and related sectors.
Enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Break client monoliths into highly robust, scalable microservices-based digital platforms.
Designing and building solutions that transform our clients into top tech firms will be what drives you. You will relish the role of technical expert across software development and DevOps, bringing with you high engineering standards, leadership, consulting, and motivational skills.
Experience:
Advanced knowledge of the latest insurance platforms and technologies such as Guidewire, ICE, EIS, Genesys etc. possessing a deep understanding of their functionalities, configurations, and integrations
Experience in leading large-scale insurance transformation programs with sound knowledge of implementing core products and services and navigating industry-specific engineering challenges.
Proven consulting and delivery experience interfacing with clients up to C-Level with the ability to explain the ‘how‘ and ‘why’
Ability to inspire and motivate software engineering and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions
Extensive experience in systems architecture and integration
Experience in leading large-scale, complex, and distributed applications development of Cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Excellent knowledge and understanding of software design/architectural concepts like Microservices, Domain-driven design, containerisation etc
Software development background of large-scale distributed systems with exposure to multiple languages (e.g. Java, Go, Scala, Python – any additional languages a plus)
REST Web services & API knowledge
DevOps/Automation experience (CI, CD, Aggregated Logging & Metrics)
Quality Engineering (eg Test Pyramid, Automated Testing)
Agile Delivery experience
