Be part of a long term project! We are looking for a Functional Analyst for one of our client based in Luxembourg
Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
Job based in Kirchberg
English fluent is mandatory
Starting date : January / February 2026
A banking experience is mandatory
Responsibilities
You’ll become the go-to expert for data insights. By understanding both content and technical requirements, you’ll shape how data flows are built, giving you influence over critical decisions and future-proofing your skills for GCP.
Your SQL skills will shine and grow. You’ll dive deep into banking platforms and complex queries, working with real-world financial data that challenges and sharpens your analytical edge.
You’ll bridge the gap between business and tech. Writing functional specs and testing results means you’ll see your ideas come to life, impacting systems that thousands rely on.
You’ll be the guardian of data quality. Designing controls and ensuring accuracy gives you the power to make data trustworthy, which is a huge responsibility and a key differentiator in your career.
You’ll solve real problems that matter. When data consumers report issues, you’ll be the detective who uncovers the root cause, turning challenges into opportunities to improve processes.
Skills
Experience in IT data analysis, Data Warehouse principles, SQL as well as understanding of PL/SQL.
Good knowledge of Wealth Management products, services and processes.
Solid and proven expertise in banking platforms such as Avaloq from a functional and technical perspective.
Ability to use data mapping, data dictionary and data transformation documents.
Excellent English, written and spoken.
