CLIENT
Business Analyst with FX Options Experience wanted for large European investment bank with international presence
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst with a specialisation in FX Options. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent understanding of options pricing, risk management, and business analysis within the financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with traders, IT developers, and Quants to provide delivery planning, analysis, and tracking.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market risk concepts, including sensitivities and Value at Risk (VaR).
Communicate effectively with business sponsors in both front office and risk functions, managing expectations and delivering results under tight deadlines.
Prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in business analysis, particularly within the FX options market.
Strong grasp of market risk concepts and the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
Experience working with bespoke risk systems is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with traders, developers, and quantitative analysts.
Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to build and maintain trust with business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are advantageous.
