On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a FX eTrading Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.
Purpose of the Role:

The FX eTrading group is a global team providing services directly to the global spot and forward FX business.
Based in London, this role involves working closely with trading, front office and research as part of a small team to develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems. The role is focused on a significant but incremental revamping programme to spot and forward pricing engines as well as the continued introduction of latest low latency technology and architecture.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a FX eTrading Developer you will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems.
Development, support and release of solutions providing discreet functionality, driven by the global business.
What we require from the candidate:
Strong Java OR C++ development skills including experience with multi-threaded.
Experience of FX / FWD business and/or experience of high-performance / low latency development.
Highly motivated to work directly with traders.
Strong communication skills.
