FRONT OFFICE REGULATORY CHANGE PROJECT MANAGER
A leading Investment Bank which is seeking a Front Office Regulatory Change Project Manager to assist with a set of commitments made by the European Regulators.
This role requires someone with recent front-office experience, consistently working on regulatory-related projects alongside good skills in managing the governance and reporting process.
CONTRACT ROLE: Highly likely to roll through until the end of 2025
Day Rate: £500 – £600/day (Umbrella)
London/Remote – 3 Days a week in the office
The programme is implementing changes to the organisations European entities to support compliance European supervisory requiremtns on trading and risk management. The implementation will be focused on managing changes to trading flows, documenting flows and creating other artefacts to support European trading desks. This is anticipated to impact Markets Trading and Sales activities, associated controls, policies and procedures, system architecture, operations / settlements to varying degrees.
Key responsibilities:
Chair Project Working Groups.
Prepare maerials for regultory and SteerCo submissions
Maintain project plans, RAID log and provide status updates to the relevant working groups.
Maintain project charter, project governance structure, RACI.
Stakeholder management across Business, Legal, Compliance, Risk functions, Operations / Settlements, Technology and any other impacted stakeholders.
Ensure the programme meets the Program Execution & Transformation PMO standards and firms PTS project standards.
Facilitate with technology teams where implementation is required.
Experience Required:
Must have Project Management experience, with a track record of successful implementation and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Investment Banking / Markets.
Experience working on projects realted to trading and risk management
Experience implementing Front to Back Target Operating Model related projects would be beneficial
Proven track record of project delivery within a Regulatory framework, from legal interpretation, business impact analysis, solution and handover to BAU.
Effective communicator (written and oral), in particular at senior management level.
Ability to document Project Management artefacts using best practice methodologies and standards.
