EUC Engineer
We are looking for an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in desktop virtualisation (VDI) environments, as well as mastery of key industry tools, including VMware Horizon (Omnissa Horizon) and systems management via SCCM.
Tasks :
Management of desktop virtualisation (VDI): Expertise in VMware Horizon (including Omnissa Horizon, the new VMware Horizon) for setting up and optimising the VDI infrastructure.
End-user device management: Implementation, configuration and maintenance of VDI solutions to ensure an optimal working environment for end-users.
SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager): Management and deployment of solutions with SCCM for controlling Windows environments, including patching, application deployment and configuration management.
Horizon packaging: Creation and packaging of applications for VMware Horizon, to ensure their compatibility with the VDI infrastructure.
Technical support and optimisation: Monitoring the performance and stability of End User Computing environments, as well as resolving incidents and user requests.
Skills required:
Proficiency in VMware Horizon (Omnissa Horizon), with solid experience in implementing, managing and optimising VDI solutions.
In-depth knowledge of SCCM (installation, deployment, configuration management).
Experience in creating and packaging applications for Horizon.
Good knowledge of Windows environments and deployment automation tools.
Ability to analyse and resolve technical problems in a complex environment.
Thoroughness and ability to work as part of a team.
Profile required:
3 to 5 years’ higher education in IT or a similar field.
At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong ability to adapt and learn, with excellent communication skills and team spirit.
