EUC Consultant
The consultant assists and advises customers in project development. Their mission is to provide technical and strategic expertise to ensure the success of IT projects.
They are attentive to customer needs, and adapt quickly to solve problems effectively.
Responsibilities and tasks
Needs analysis and customer relationship management:
Understand customer needs and objectives to propose appropriate solutions.
Provide strategic advice and work with customers to develop IT solutions aligned with their objectives, drawing on in-depth expertise.
Maintain good customer relations by communicating clearly and responding promptly to customer concerns.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Continuously train to acquire the necessary skills to meet business needs.
Management and technical support:
Ensure the day-to-day management of IT systems, including servers, networks and associated equipment.
Maintain system availability and performance through monitoring, preventive maintenance and incident resolution.
Provide technical support to resolve incidents reported by users or detected by monitoring tools.
Efficiently diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to operating systems, applications and network equipment.
IT service improvement:
Participate in identifying opportunities for improving IT services and proposing solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
Contribute to the documentation of processes and operating procedures to ensure traceability and reproducibility of actions taken.
Collaborate with the team and other stakeholders to implement necessary changes and improve IT services.
Skills required
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
– Ability to adapt.
– Ability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
– Strong results orientation and ability to achieve objectives.
– Proficiency in IT tools and project management techniques (Prince 2).
– Practical experience in the administration and operation of VMware Horizon 7 and/or 8, including VMware Unified Access Gateway.
– Expertise in creating and optimizing Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 Master Image for VDI infrastructures.
– Practical experience in administering Citrix Netscaler, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune for managing Windows, Apple and Android endpoints.
– Basic knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop.
– Basic knowledge of Powershell scripting.
– Fluency in English.
