Equity Analyst – Global Long Short Hedge Fund

Our client is a top hedge fund with a superb track record with equity long/ short investing. The team has been together for a number of years, and have made enormous returns for investors. They are now looking to recruit an Equity Analyst to their team.
The role will work on the following :
Active Identification of investment opportunities for the fund
Recommending buy and sell side trades to the Portfolio Managers
Carrying out detailed financial modelling and analysis of investment opportunities
Monitoring existing positions
Active member of the investment team
They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:
Equity analyst from sell side firms
Equity analysts from other asset management firms
ACAs
CFAs
Great academics
The role is quite a junior position in the team and so its probably going to be most suited to those with 3-6 years professional experience
