Electronic Design & Test Engineer – Space Sector – 12 Months – FREELANCE/CONTRACT

My client, who work in the Space sector, are URGENTLY looking for an Electronic System Engineer with a strong knowledge in design. The task is to understand the design, and then test, debug and troubleshoot in a hands-on manner.

This is a 12-month FREELANCE contract with a strong likelihood of extension. The customer is based in the Kortrijk region of Belgium.

Tech Stack:
• A strong understanding of design in electronics.
• Experience within the Space sector and ECSS standards would be beneficial. Otherwise experience with a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge in EMC analysis.
• Familiarity with Python.

Responsibilities:
• ‘Design without doing the design’. ‘Understand the design and then conduct the performance test’.
• Debugging on board and on system level.
• Design and program test equipment in Python on a framework provided by the customer.
• Independently troubleshoot the board and system
