EL240212P2A1: Consumer Centricity PMO (ASAP, Brussels/remote, 12 month)
Goal:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Product Management Officer (PMO) professional. The PMO for Consumer Centricity will be responsible for supporting the product line teams in the successful realization of digital products. You will report to and work closely with the Consumer Centricity product leads.
This person is responsible for structuring and organizing the cost, resource and goals management for the five product lines. This will be an important watchtower role, providing the product leads with all required information to properly steer the product lines.
Tasks:
Resource Planning & Management:
• Manage the resource planning and resource assignments for the consumer centricity product initiatives, based on the product leads’ input. (IT Tools: Sciforma & Excel)
• Provide product leads with an overview of the resource allocations (proposed positions, open positions, filled in positions)
• Detect and monitor resource management issues (overallocations, timesheet punching deviating from planned resource allocations, etc), and address the issues with the product leads or resource managers.
Cost Planning and Management:
• Develop and maintain cost plans/budgets for consumer centricity product initiatives.
Update cost forecasts based on input from product owners and product leads.
(IT Tools: Sciforma & Excel)
• Monitor financial progress.
• Launch purchase order requests and manage the good receipts in alignment with delivery of the purchase orders.
• Monthly follow-up of financial progress on the portfolio of products, and report this to product leads & product director.
Objective setting and followup:
• Support the product leads & product owners in establishing their annual and quarterly objectives and key results. (IT Tool: Microsoft Viva Goals)
• Monitor progress of the objectives and key results.
• Establish and maintain product goals documentation, under the form of ABR & QBR Memos (ABR/QBR = Annual/Quarterly Business Review).
• Contribute to the different ABR and QBR ceremonies.
Organisation of documentation:
• Continuous improvement of the structures where we keep and communicate information (MS Teams/Sharepoint/Onenote)
Organization of product team events:
• To foster collaboration & knowledge exchange between the different product teams, we organize periodical workshops/seminars. The PMO will structure these sessions, based on collection of the needs of the product leads and product owners.
Requirements: Please highlight in your CV all the requirements you cover, even if they seem standard/ obvious to you.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in project/product/portfolio management officer or controlling roles.
• You know state-of-the-art project management software and tools, but also how to pragmatically adapt them to a given context/ company and avoid over-complexification. Experience with abovementioned IT tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Creative, well organised, autonomous and result oriented.
• Team player who brings dynamism and positive energy.
• Fluent in English.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch or French.
– Start: ASAP approx. 12 Month
– Workload: 5 Days per Week
– Location: Remote percentage is discussable in the interview.
