We are looking for a Disaster Recovery Manager with Cloud Experience (m/f/x) for our customer in the energy sector.

Duration: 6 months +
Location: remote
Capacity: Fulltime

Responsibilities:
We need a technical project manager with cloud experience. Main focus is on disaster recovery set up.

– Consultant should support actual DR SME as he is not able to run the activities in parallel to his standard activities
– Lead and steer the Shield DR initiative and develop a clear project schedule (agile)
– Report on a written, consistently, timely, and accurately on the status, critical milestones and dependencies on a weekly basis
– Prepare decision proposals as required for the Project and / or Technology Steering meetings
– Track milestones and financial data and report this in internal tools
– Develop and design all needed steps to implement IT Disaster Recovery, IT Service Continuity Management and Business Continuity Management based on the existing plans.
– This includes stating DR scenarios we are prepared for considering outages of IT services as well IT applications due to Natural, Technological and Man-made threats including Cyber-attacks ( Hacking / Ransomware) and stating currently accepted DR risks.
– Compare the IT DR strategy with internal BCM strategy on a high level with the objective to identify and document mismatches
– Propose measures to close gaps that have been identified on a high level
– Create a portfolio of work within internal IT with a focus on improving the unit efficiency and/or process efficiency

Key Skills:
– Disaster recovery analyst
– migration expert ( on prem to cloud)
– knowledge in disaster recovery processes set up
– experience in stake holder management in large programs
– Experience in a transformation program (traditional datacenter to cloud)
– Project Management experience (agile)
– Disaster Recovery and Cyber Security experience
– Profiles in English
