Role: DevOps Engineer (Infra/storage tech)
Industry: Banking
Rate: Up to 635 pd via Umbrella
Duration: 12 months initially
Application closing date: 13/10/2023
Location and working policy: Glasgow, 3 days per week in office
Requirements: Python, Java, SDLC, SQL, Storage
A bank are looking to hire a cross-over skillset for a contract DevOps Engineer via an Umbrella company to work on creating highly available and scalable solutions to handle the group storage repository including storage provisioning, monitoring, alerting, auditing, inventorying etc.
As well as architecting the storage solution with third party supplies, you’ll also develop in-house applications that will become part of the technology platform.
Requirements
Experience as a DevOps Eng
Hands on experience with storage technologies
Experienced software development with Python, Java and/or Perl
Nice to have – not essential
Knowledge of storage technologies and disciplines
System architecture experience with UNIX/RHEL and/or Windows server
Container environments and cloud environments
