CTG IT Solutions – Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in server-side applications and migration projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating a client/server application from JBoss 7.1.1 to WildFly 26. You will work alongside a small team of developers in a collaborative environment to ensure a smooth and successful transition within the proposed timeline.
Your missions
Collaborate with the development team to understand the current architecture and functionalities of the existing client/server application.
Design and implement the migration plan for migrating the server part of the application from JBoss 7.1.1 to WildFly 26.
Ensure compatibility and functionality of the migrated application on the new platform.
Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the migration process.
Work closely with the team to maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the project.
Collaborate with other team members to integrate changes into the existing codebase using SVN.
Utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with other team members using Eclipse/IntelliJ for development tasks.
Interface with Oracle 11g databases for data migration and integration tasks.
Your profile
Holding a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in Java 7 and later versions.
Strong experience with JBoss 7.x and WildFly 10+.
Familiarity with Version Control systems such as SVN and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
Experience working with Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEs.
Solid understanding of Oracle 11g and higher.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience in migrating Java applications to different application platforms.
Familiarity with build automation tools such as Maven and Ant.
Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Familiarity with AWS Workspaces.
