Join us as a System Administrator
Are you passionate about infrastructure, reliability, and security? At Cronos Europa, we’re looking for a talented System Administrator (full-onsite position). You will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while working with a driven, collaborative team.
Your responsabilities
As a System Administrator, you will:
Take ownership of core infrastructure services (e.g., file/print, RDS, hosted applications)
Provide expert-level (2nd-line) support for complex system and infrastructure issues
Install, configure, and maintain servers and system software with up-to-date patching
Monitor infrastructure to guarantee high availability and optimal performance
Manage and execute configuration and change management activities
Handle incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis for system problems
Diagnose Hardware/software issues, coordinating with central IT when needed
Support capacity planning, system automation, and IT security initiatives
Collaborate with hosting and database teams to ensure seamless operations
Create and manage scripts and system configurations to improve efficiency
Oversee backup and recovery procedures for critical systems
Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions and system design improvements
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for internal use
Enforce IT security policies and ensure regulatory compliance
Participate in project meetings and actively contribute to team initiatives
Technical skills
Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments
Solid knowledge of backup/Storage technologies and network administration
Experience in Oracle environments and related systems
Proficiency in applying ITIL processes or similar IT service methodologies
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; French is a an asset
